Community Service Resource Guide
|
|
This is not by any means an exhaustive list of parks and facilities that
can benefit from a service project, or the gift of time in the way of
service hours. Hopefully, this can be a point at which to start looking
for ideas for projects and service hours that will benefit the communities
within the boundaries of the Occoneechee Council.
Please keep in mind that when working with these facilities that all
established guidelines for service projects and/or service hours must
be followed. It is also important to know the rules and policies set by
the facility and/or institution for which the project or service hours
are being performed.

Service Hours
|
|
This is a list of organizations in the community that can benefit from
volunteer work. Time spent to the benefit of any of these organizations
would qualify as service hours for scout advancement.
